Our home

We have a 3 floor London family townhouse with four bedrooms, a spacious living room, well appointed kitchen, and a small but (we think) quite charming walled garden. One bedroom has two childrens beds, another only has a sofa bed. The house, which we have fully restored, is part of a Victorian terrace in a vibrant part of NW London, and being inside zone 2, it provides very easy access by train, tube or road to central London.

Who we are

  1. We are Lucy and Steve, a couple for more than 20 years with two children, Alice and Max, aged 6 and 4. We are both full time professionals working in academia. We have not done a house swap before but are excited about the opportunity to explore somewhere new in a different way.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The house is on a quiet residential street but situated near to the two very different shopping areas - in one direction is the bustling Kilburn High Road with bigger name chain stores, in the other direction is the more laid back boutiques and eateries of Salsbury Rd - along with the delightful and exceptionally well appointed Queens Park itself (particularly good for children). We are just a few minutes walk from two tube lines and the London overground lines - effectively putting the whole of London on your doorstep. We are situated within zone two - which means the heart of London can be reached in under half an hour by tube, and we also have access to numerous bus routes even nearer.
