Our home

Our home is 3 bedroom house with open-plan double reception room and a pretty garden, situated in a lovely residential area of south London, between Clapham and Wimbledon.

Downstairs is an open-plan area which includes a sitting area and dining area with a galley kitchen along side. From here French windows open into the garden, which has a decking area, patio (small portable bbq available) and grass lawn.
Upstairs there are 2 double and one single bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower/bath.

Who we are

  1. I'm a freelance TV Director and artist and have a 5 y.o son. I enjoy seeing different parts of the world and love French and Italian cultures (speak both languages).
We spent some time in Spain last year and would like to go back and get to know it better, as well as go to Brazil and Asia.

We are respectful, tidy people and appreciate the importance of looking after a home. My son is well behaved and our house has not turned into one big playroom!
We have done several exchanges now and they have been great.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Earlsfield is a nice residential area with great restaurants, bars, cafes, galleries and shops, plus a good size supermarket just 4 mins walk away. Nearby are the green expanses of Wandsworth Common and Wimbledon Park (cafes, bowling green, tennis courts, playparks, ponds etc.)

With great transport links into central London, Waterloo (London Eye) is only 15 mins by direct train, and London sights (Westminster, Big Ben, Tower Bridge, Tower of London) are all within easy reach (30-40 mins), as well as theatres, museums, shops, restaurants, bars, clubs, etc.

If you prefer open spaces, the parks in central London (Hyde Park, St James', Kensington Gardens) are within easy reach. Richmond park (walking, cycling, wildlife) is a 20 min train journey away, as are the wonderful Kew Gardens.

NB Gatwick airport is more convenient than Heathrow if you are travelling by train, with regular direct trains to nearby Clapham Junction.
