Our home

We live in a 2 bedroom, converted coach house in Camberwell, South London. The house is semi-detached and in a very quiet and peaceful location, despite being minutes from Central London. The house is situated on what can only be described as a lane or track. The downstairs is completely open plan so the lounge/kitchen/dining area are in the same room. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. (1st bedroom has a double bed, plenty of wardrobe storage. 2nd is a nursery for our 4 year old daughter. It has a junior bed, toys and more wardrobe storage). We also have a small-double, inflatable bed which could be set up in the nursery. Both bedrooms have green, garden views. Outside is a fairly large private terrace area, with garden chairs, table and parasol. We love living here because London is on your doorstep, but the house is in a tucked away location which almost feels like the countryside!

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The nearest station is Denmark Hill (Zone 2) and only a 5 minute walk away. Trains run regularly to Central London (Zone 1) - journey time to London Bridge and Victoria is only 12 to 15 minutes by train. Good food/gift shopping and restaurants can be found in nearby East Dulwich and Camberwell. There are some nice parks nearby including Ruskin Park, Peckham Rye Park and with a short bus ride you can visit Dulwich Park and Brockwell Park. There are also lots of buses going to Central London, which also provide access to the nearest London Underground stations - Oval/Elephant & Castle/Kennington. The house is in an attractive area with some well-preserved Georgian architecture, including the tree-lined Camberwell Grove. We also have a nice pub, Vietnamese restaurant and local shop on the corner of the street. A large Sainsbury's supermarket is also conveniently located a 10 minute walk away in East Dulwich.
