Our home

Our house is a townhouse built in the late 19th century, spanning 4 floors. It is finished to a very high level of quality.

It comfortably sleeps 4 in two bedrooms, but can sleep up to 6 if necessary in the third bedroom, which we currently use as an office. There is a lovely modern kitchen/ large dining room and shower room on the ground floor, comfortable large living room (plasma TV, HD satellite tuner, dvd etc) and one bedroom on the first floor, the master bedroom, ensuite shower room, office and one further bathroom on the second floor and the top floor is the roof terrace/roof kitchen overlooking trees and small soccer pitches. There is a gas barbecue on the terrace.

Who we are

  1. There are just two of us, my lovely wife and I and our two happy friendly dogs. We work in financial services (not the dogs, they consume financial resources) We are open to all sorts of travel/home exchange opportunities so please feel free to get in touch and let's see what can be worked out!

We also have a little 15th century cottage in the countryside in Suffolk (ID = 59149), about 120 km north east of London. The cottage comfortably sleeps 4 but can sleep 5/6 using the third bedroom, currently in use as my wife's sewing grotto! This house can also be brought into any arrangement should there be any interest.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The house is perfectly located to enjoy the very best London has to offer, most of it within easy walking distance.

We are 15 mins walk from St Pauls Cathedral, 5 mins walk from 2 tube stations (Old Street and Barbican) and there is a bus stop with a direct bus into the West End/Oxford Circus 3 minutes away (I actually often walk into the West End, it takes about 30 minutes). There are some of the best restaurants (including up to 2 Michelin stars) and bars in London less than 10 mins walk away, 2 minutes via taxi.

We are 10 minutes via taxi from London St Pancras railway station (Eurostar) and 10-15 minutes walk (less than 10 mins via taxi) from London Liverpool St station for the express train to Stansted Airport. London City Airport is 7 miles.
