Tyddyn Uchaf Farmhouse on Anglesey

We live in a restored farmhouse 4 miles outside the world heritage town of Beaumaris with its ancient castle, courthouse and jail. Our small village has a pub with excellent food as well as bike tracks and a spectacular beach with miles of golden sand a two mile stroll away. The scenery is a rural idyll. We have a large garden, with patio and barbecue, which opens out on to green pastureland containing sheep and cows and plenty of buzzards as well as lots of smaller birds at our feeding stations. On our 7 acre fields we have seen badger,fox and many hares. Our neighbours are busy farmers so there are plenty of tractors on the narrow lanes with few white lines!
Further afield are mountains 3000 feet tall, with Snowden the tallest. You can take the 100 year old train or walk it in 3 hours. Trains to Chester, Liverpool and Manchester go from the city of Bangor 10 miles away. We have it all! Lots of culture too.
