Our home

Our home is a beautifully presented detached four bedroom property. The property is approached over a tarmac driveway with a path leading to the front door. The hall give access to the sitting room, dining room, play room, cloak room and fitted kitchen. The sitting room, dining room and kitchen is open plan and spacious. Doors to the rear of the dining room open into the conservatory. The kitchen overlooks a pretty south-facing rear garden. Upstairs the master bedroom features a a range of fitted bedroom furniture and an en-suite shower room. There are three further bedrooms, all of good proportions and a main bathroom.

Who we are

We are Ashley and Hannah, a married couple with three children (13, 10 & 2). We are both teachers (Director of Sport & SENCO) and enjoy travelling when we are on vacation. We have not done a home exchange before but are keen to try what sounds a great way to see another country.

Our home is situated a short walk from the town's amenities and is built on on land formerly owned by Lechlade Manor. Lechlade-on-Thames is a small Cotswold town, attractively situated alongside water meadows at the highest navigable point of the River Thames.

Lechlade-on-Thames and its neighboring Cotswold villages are very popular with celebrities and politicians such as Kate Moss, Gary Barlow, Jason Donovan and David Cameron all having properties in the area.

Ideally located as a touring base, our town offers easy access to the cities of Cirencester, Cheltenham, Oxford, Windsor and Henley all under an hour away.
