Our home

We have a lovely well maintained home set in the countryside. We rise above the famous Antrim coast road and have breathtaking views to the rear. The house has large mastersuite with kingsize bed, toilet, shower and wash basin, it is very private as it is the only room upstairs. We have another kingsize bed in a guest room and a very large childs bedroom. Our study doubles as a comfortable single bedroom. On this ground floor we have a spacious family bathroom with walk in shower, roll top bath, toilet and wash stand.
Our kitchen is very large with a range cooker and dishwasher and a large country dining table. Our laundry area is in a seperate room.
The living/family room is very spacious with a gas stove fire place and a lovely picture window over looking the views.
Mostly I would say our home is very light and bright and comfortable.
We have a large garden with a wooden play structure, it is a secure and safe area with a large suntrap patio area for relaxing. To the front of the property we have plenty of parking space and more garden set in lawn and flower beds. We have all the usual gadgets in the home including sky tv and a decent home theatre system in the living room.

Who we are

  1. We are a family of three...My husband Eddie myself Stephanie and one daughter of 9 named Erin. My husband is a keen carpenter and I am studying towards a degree in counselling. Our Daughter loves to swim and is on our local team she also rides regularly. We have two dogs Mackie and Milo who we all love to bits.
We would most like a swap in Scotland England or Southern Ireland where there is not too much travel involved as I have a pretty bad back.
Mostly we would like someone to take care of our home as much as we would care for yours. We would like a swap during easter holidays April 8th -22nd for a few days or any time during the school summer holidays which are all of june and july for a week or twos break.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We live in a rural location yet we are only minutes into the town of Larne. We only have one immediate neighbour other wise we are surrounded by fields.
To the front of our home we have distant views to the scottish coastline. To the rear of the house we have a stunning view into the Sallagh hills which are part of the famous Antrim Glens. Our house is on a hill top called the knowehead and we rise above the Famous Antrim Coast road which leads to the atractions such as the Giants Causeway, carrick-a reed rope bridge, bushmills distillery and miles of the most beautiful coastline in Ireland. We have many castle sites to visit but I think Dunluce Castle is one of the most beautiful ruins and Carrickfergus Castle is a fantastic Norman stronghold which you can explore inside and out. We are in a perfect area to gain peace and quiet but we are also close to golf, horse riding and diving. If you area keen hiker we are right on the doorstep of the Famous Ulster Way paths which take you all over Northern Ireland.
