Our home

Our home is clean, comfortable and welcoming (we have a cleaner who would come once a week during your stay). We spend most of our time in the modern open plan living area (kitchen, dining and lounge) which has bi-fold doors opening to the decked patio and garden. There are 3 good size double bedrooms and two bathrooms. If you are travelling with young children, we have a cot and cot-bed available for use (the cot can be accommodated in any of the bedrooms).

Our preference would be to travel outside of school holidays.

Kingston is very close to Wimbledon (10 min train ride) for anyone who is interested in attending the Wimbledon tennis championships (http://www.wimbledon.com/en_GB/index.html).

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Our home is perfect for those who love the city and the countryside in equal measure. Situated in the historic market town of Kingston upon Thames (and close to the bright lights of London) in between two Royal Parks and the River Thames. Both Royal Parks are enormous and hugely popular for walkers, cyclists, and wildlife photographers.

- 31 minute direct train ride to Central London (Waterloo station)
- 5 minutes walk from central Kingston
- 5 minutes walk to River Thames (from where you can take a boat to Richmond)
- 10 minutes walk to Royal Richmond Park - http://www.royalparks.org.uk/parks/richmond-park
- 15 minutes walk to Royal Bushy Park - http://www.royalparks.org.uk/parks/bushy-park
- Hampton Court Palace, Kew Gardens and Richmond all easily accessible by car or public transport.

We love the area we live in, and would be more than happy to help you research your holiday itinerary as well as to offer our own suggestions.
