Our home

We live in a lovely, friendly neighbourhood with lots of amenities. Our home is a three bed 1930's house. We have an open plan kitchen diner with granite tops and range cooker. The lounge has two leather sofas with large flat screen TV.

Large patio doors open to frame a beautiful south facing suburban garden with decking, a stunning pond, a garden room and two apple trees. For younger ages we have a playhouse, tree house, slide and tyre swing. There is a gas three burner BBQ and outdoor table for all fresco dining.

There is a master double bedroom and a second bedroom with a bunk bed. The third bedroom is a child's room with a loft bed. A fourth bedroom/chill out room downstairs which has a fold out sofa bed and loft bed.

Property features

Who we are

  1. We have lived in the house for 16 years and love the area as it has everything you need. My wife is a special needs teacher and artist and I run a charity working with marginalised and disadvantaged young people. We have three children aged 16, 12 and 7 all of whom are very creative. There are several young families and the street has no through traffic so is very safe. An ice cream van turns up most days so watch the waistline!

My parents live in the New Forest, Hampshire and would be willing to offer their 2 bed apartment flat for exchange for a couple of weeks. They live in a converted stately home near Lyndhurst.
