Our home

Our home is an attractive 4 bedroom detached house. Downstairs we have a fully equipped kitchen for someone who enjoys cooking as we love entertaining. There is also a through lounge/dining room and a large conservatory overlooking the garden. Upstairs are four bedrooms, one of which is used as an office with a computer and printer. One bedroom is en-suite with a power shower, and there is also a family bathroom with bath and shower. We have a small well maintained garden and our car is an automatic Volkswagen Golf available for use.

Who we are

  1. We are a retired couple, members of the local Lions Club and involved also with a Probus Club. We are social and have many close friends. Pamela enjoys cooking, gardening, swimming and walking, while Tom enjoys walking, swimming, reading and golf. We have had several successful house exchanges in Perth over recent years. Pamela has a daughter who owns a cookery school in Bicton where she lives with her family, hence our preference to exchange in the Freemantle and Melville areas, but we are open to suggestions.

Your neighbourhood

We live in a quiet private cu-de-sac close to fields and woods, with plenty of opportunity for walks in the countryside. Our nearest town, Horsham is three miles away, with good access to London by train, about one hour away. The towns of Brighton and Worthing on the south coast are about 30 minutes away by car. Horsham is an historic market town with plenty of shops, restaurants, cinema, theatre and sports facilities. There are a number of golf courses within easy reach. For those interested in history, there are many National Trust properties in Sussex, Surrey and Kent.
