Our home

My house is very interesting, it has the largest garden in this village and it's probably the biggest house in this area. The rooms are big, Master bedroom is ensuite. There is a river overlooking the house, it also got a massive garage and a cellar. There is a large patio where you may enjoy a barbecue. It used to be the village store a long time ago and it has loads of unusual features because it was never built as a house but still is very much a big family home. There are 2 open fireplaces to keep you cosy in the winter. It is fully central heated. There is a big loft. There are 2 conservatries, one joining to the house, the other joining to the garage.

Your neighbourhood

Very beautiful village, quiet and friendly. Old chapel in the middle of the village, a river across the road, a Car Garage across the road, a village hall for fun activities, there are village get togethers such as the Raft Race which takes place every year. There is a lot of wildlife around the area, we are lucky to have Swans staying at the bridge near the house. Many ducks come to the river here. The train station is about 4 miles away and to commute to cambridge city is 40 minutes away and straight line to london is every 20 minutes. The university of cambridge is ideal if need be, the nearest town, Downham Market is only 4 miles down the road, or if you prefer a bigger place to shop Kings Lynn is not far away. There are 2 primary and 1 secondary school about 4 miles from the house and there is public transport bus.
If you like horses you will love it round here, there is vast space and plenty of stables to rent.
