Our house is an old, stone cottage on a quiet road of other old houses built as far as we know about 1850.
The house is cosy, with thick stone walls and a log burner for those Winter evenings. Both double beds are extremely comfy and have good quality bedding.
Our kitchen is well-equipped and our bathroom pretty new, both are clean and modern.
We have two lovely cats, both nine years old who come with the house! They both like a lap in the evening but are otherwise pretty self-sufficient and very gentle. Our neighbour can feed them if you want to be away overnight so they shouldn't be too much of a bind!
My husband Lee and I are both originally from London, we have moved to Oxfordshire and are enjoying the different pace of life here. We have both traveled quite widely and enjoy exploring new places and cultures. We are expecting our first baby in October 2017 and so are looking to make the most of our mat/ paternity leave by traveling to New Zealand and Australia, hence our first foray into house swapping!
The nearby countryside at the end of the road is just lovely for picnics and evening walks (with deer!) and Oxford isn't far away either by car or bus from the other end of the road. Explore the Cotswolds easily from this surburban base or travel further afield to Gloucester or maybe historic Warwick, both an easy drive from 'home'. The road is quiet and you are guaranteed a good night's sleep!

Our house is a semi-detached, delightful and cosy 16th century cottage, which used to be a pub. The bell for the last drinks round still hangs in the living...
