Property features

Who we are

  1. We are two young 67 year olds, recently retired and wanting to spend time with our family in New Zealand. Our son is living in Torbay, North Shore Auckland and we are wanting to exchange our house and car ideally from October 2008 to April 2009 but can be flexible in this.We would also consider exchanges in other parts of the world especially in Europe

We are quite happy to exchange with a family as our own home is child proof and grand child proof!!

I am a retired builder so our house has been extremely well maintained.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Our house is located in a sought after lane in the village of Kennington. The house has local walks in a private woodland and a family park nearby. A short walk to the river Thames and two fine pubs along its pathway. The village has several local shops and other amenities but also an excellent 10 minute bus service right into the centre of Oxford running every 15 minutes.

From Oxford there is a 10 minute bus service to London taking 90 minutes. The historic city of Oxford needs no introduction. (http://www.oxford.gov.uk/tourism/index.cfm) and with several fine country houses and gardens locally such as Blenheim Palace (http://www.blenheimpalace.com)
