Our home

Lovely 3 bedroom pine lodge in the heart of the English Lake district. This traditional lodge will sleep 6. The accommodation has 1 double bedroom with en suite, twin bedroom and further bedroom with bunk beds plus main bathroom. There is an open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area.
There is full central heating and gas fire to lounge. There is a deck to the front of the lodge which overlooks the river Troutbeck, small garden and BBQ area. Private parking to the side.
There is a wealth of wildlife in the area including red deer, red squirrels, heron and lots more. Newly furnished 2006.

The English Lake District offers a wide variety of activities for people of all ages. Walking, Rock Climbing, Horse Riding, Cycling, Sailing, Fishing or just strolling round the wonderful villages or cruising on one of the many lakes. There are wonderful historic properties to visit plus museums, steam railway and national park facilities. The Lodge is only 5 minutes from Windermere village and gives easy access to Lake Windermere, Bowness and Ambleside. The homes of Beatrix Potter and Wordsworth are all within a few minutes drive. The Lake District boasts a wealth of restaurants and cafes.
