Our home

A modern detatched house in a friendly village near the coast & easy access to France. The house has three double bedrooms, two en-suite plus an additional bathroom. There is a downstairs toilet. It is a warm sunny house with a large sunroom. There is central heating. Outside is a small garden overlooking fields and there is a private courtyard adjacent to our (derelict) windmill, built 1851. The house is in a private close with only 3 other properties but is not overlooked.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Stanford is a small village close to the motorway connecting London & Dover and within a few minutes walk to Westenhanger station with trains to London etc. The Channel Tunnel is 5 minutes drive and the Eurostar 186 mph / 300kph service to Paris Brussels & Lille stops nearby at Ashford International Station. We are close to the attractive Cinque Port of Hythe & are close to Canterbury, Dover, Folkestone & Ashford.
There is an attractive pub in the village dating back to 18th century which serves good beer and food.
