Our house has 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms plus downstairs cloakroom, living room, kitchen/breakfast room, dining room, study, garage, and gardens to front and rear with patio (with gas barbecue). Itâs got all mod cons -dishwasher, washing machine, widescreen t.v. dvd and video, computer/broadband etc etc.
Richard and Jayne, both professionals, along with our 15 year old daughter.
We enjoy outdoor activities as well as relaxing in front of the TV with a bottle of wine, or going out to one of the many excellent restaurants nearby with friends.
Our large home is in the charming old village of Hursley, ten minutes from the Cathedral City of Winchester and one hour by fast train to Central London. Winchester has a great selection of shops, restaurants, leisure facilities including modern swimming pool etc. We are also only a short drive from the beautiful New Forest, which is a National Park. The coast is about 30/40 mins drive with some great beaches. You can also get across to The Isle of Wight on a ferry from Southampton about 12 miles away. That makes a great day trip.
Below there's a couple of links with more info. on Winchester.
