My name is Kay Precious and I am in my late 40's. I work as a sales rep. My partner is called David and is a local schools teacher. We have taken part in 2 exchanges so far. One to Australia as part of a job exchange for a year the other to Dennia in Spain. We are looking to Exchange during the summer, half term or Christmas school holidays to somewhere hot and sunny and close to beaches. Ideally we would like it to be within easy flying distance of England, but are also open to offers of any kind.
Kingston Upon Hull is a fast emerging destination where a wealth of architectual heritage blends with innovative design to create a city centre that is full of character. From the historic old town with its museums quarter to the contempoary Princes Quay shopping centre floating above the waters of the old dock. Hull is a city of contrasts. It has been called the gateway to Europe because of its ferry links to Holland and Belguim. It is a short half an hours drive to the east coast and the resorts of Bridlington and Scarborough. A one hour drive takes you to the historic towns of Lincoln and York. Situated in the heart of Hull is a marina which is a haven for yachts and sailing crafts. The marina is surrounded by shops restaurants, tradtional pubs and cafe bars. It is an perfect place to relax and let the world go by. The yorkshire moors, peak district and yorkshire dales are within easy reach for a day out. Hull is well situated in the middle of the east side of England and could be used as a base for longer visits to the lake district, London and Scotland.
