Our family home is large and spacious with a lovely conservatory leading from the main lounge out onto our stunning 300ft garden with lawn, trees, shrubs and flowers (and a 15 ft trampoline-for the energetic). We have a large dining room with an open fire and dining table which easily seats 12-we like entertaining!Downstairs we have another reception room, cloakroom and a light spacious kitchen overlooking the garden.
Upstairs we have the master bedroom (with ensuite shower and wc) and three other large bedrooms, one with a double bed and two with singles that both convert to twins. We have a large family bathroom with separate shower and bath.

Who we are

  1. My name is Jackie and I am a school photographer, my husband Kerry is an aerospace manager and we have 2 daughters, Hannah and Emily aged 14 and 11. This will be our first exchange and we are very excited about it, hopefully it will lead to many more. We moved to our house in July 2007 and are sure you will love it as much as us.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Our house is situated on a lovely quiet road in the Hucclecote area of Gloucester which has many amenities such as shops, supermarket, post office, pubs and restaurants within 5 mins walk.
Gloucester city centre (historic cathederal where Harry Potter filmed) is 10 mins drive and the beautiful regency town of Cheltenham, famous for its architecture and horse racing, is just 15 mins drive away offering many designer shops, bars and restaurants.
We are within a short distance of the beautiful Cotswolds with many picturesque villages and breathtaking views.
Oxford is only an hours drive away and London 2 hours. Gloucester has a very good bus and train service and as we are only 2 mins away from the M5 motorway, travelling is very easy due to our central position.
