Our home

HI there!
We have owned this house for just over 4 years and it is our first family home which we love very much and have put a lot of work into. It is a typical 1930's semi-detatched in a residential area of Hove.
Upstairs we have 2 double bedrooms and a child's single room and a family bathroom.
Downstairs we have recently finished a large extension to create an open plan kitchen, dining, living room plus a downstairs toilet.
We have a fully fitted modern kitchen, including dishwasher and we also have high speed internet.
Our garden is small but sheltered and sweet with BBQ, swing chair and a patio seating area. My music studio backs onto the garden.
We live directly on a bus line into central Brighton. 8 mins walk from the nearest station, 10 mins walk to beautiful Hove park and 20 mins walk from the sea. From here it takes 40 mins by train to Gatwick airport and 1 hour exactly to London Victoria.

Who we are

  1. I am English and my husband Andy is from New Zealand, we have a daughter who is 3 and a half years old. Our main object on this site is to try and swap with people in New Zealand as we are planning a trip from Dec 2013 onwards for anything between 6 weeks and 6 months.

We want to spend time with parents, siblings and friends before our daughter starts school in September 2014. Andy's parents are in Aukland, Brother in Wellington and friends in Dunedin so these are our three ideal locations....primarily AUCKLAND.

We look forward to hearing from you

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

If you haven't been to Brighton you will love it!! It is the one of the most desirable towns in Britain with a thriving music scene, loads of restaurants, a spectacular festival for the whole month of May, wonderful shops in the historic Lanes and miles of seafront. Just out of town you are on the sussex downs and within easy distance of many historic treasures such as Petworth house and Heaver Castle. London is only 1 hour on the train direct from Hove- so ideal for day trips without the expense of accommodation. We are 40 mins from Gatwick and just over an hour from Heathrow airports.
