“We had a great time at Victoria and Gabrial! Very close to the center of London but with a feeling to be in the countryside. All commodities nearby. And we have discovered new places of this big city: Highgate, Hampstead heath, Kentish Town, Primrose Hill. The communication with Victoria has been easy and nice. ”

Our home
Edwardian family house wonderfully located in a very special part of London with incredible views of the city, just a few minutes stroll from Hampstead Heath - london's loveliest wild and green space with swimming ponds and a lido. Short bike or bus ride to Camden Town and Oxford Circus (right in the centre).
House is bathed in natural light and geared towards family life... large garden, trampoline, hammock! Comfortable but not precious decor so you can relax. The estate (called the Holly Lodge) has it's own park and because our street is private it's very quiet and safe. You can hear lots of birds and there is lots of wildlife. The neighbour has beehives and makes honey yet the hustle and bustle and delights of central London are easy to get to.

Who we are
-
We are a couple with kids 8 and 10
-
We are both creatives - I am a documentary filmmaker and my husband works in TV drama. Gabriel was born in Camden, I've lived here all my adult life. We both know the city really well and can tip you off about where to go - whatever your fancy.
-
We think we live in the best bit of London - surrounded by green space, between two famous London "villages" (Highgate and Hampstead) that are steeped in history and gorgeous architecture. Central London is really easy to get too if you want more action and all the famous attractions. We love the idea of house swapping - and getting a local's eye view on a new place to discover - and are actively looking for our first swap!

Where is it?
Your neighbourhood
We live right next to Hampstead heath - London's loveliest wild park with playgrounds, Kenwood house (national trust) within the park and cafes and ponds dotted within it. Highgate village high street with pubs and shops is ten mins walk away. There are shops and cafes a couple of streets away on Swains Lane too. Hampstead village is a walk away over the heath. Both highgate and Hampstead are very famous, historic enclaves of north london, with interesting architecture. It's where lots of celebrities live as it's so nice and a little tucked away but central london is still very easy to get to.
