Our home

We have a spacious 4 bed roomed house, 2 double and 2 single rooms, easily accommodating 6 people with 2 bathrooms both with toilet and shower, one with a bath. There is a separate dining with lots of character and a well equipped kitchen as we both enjoy cooking. We also have 2 conservatories with comfortable sofas on which to relax, lots of private outdoor space with tables and chairs for outdoor dining. We are not overlooked and located in a very peaceful position within a conservation village in the Vale of Belvoir, a very beautiful and much sought after area.
There is a friendly village pub serving home cooked pub food, and another pub in the next village, within walking distance, which is more of a restaurant, highly recommended. There is also a coffee shop serving lunch, snacks and homemade cakes. Both the pub and coffee shop are located on a very pretty canal attracting walkers and cyclists.
We are very well situated to appeal for every taste, trains to London from Grantham which is 40/45 mins away are 1 hour, Nottingham is 30 minutes drive and is good for shopping, restaurants, museums, cinemas, historical tours, Leicester is 40 minutes drive, famous for its Indian cuisine a lively multi-cultural city with lots to offer. We are close to Melton Mowbray famous for its pork pies, sausages and weekly market, Newark an attractive market town, Rutland Water is 30 minutes drive for a variety of water activities, it is popular to hire bikes. The Peak District is an hour's drive, popular with walkers and climbers, very pretty villages. We have beautiful walks and cycle rides on our doorstep.
We have 2 cats who spend most of their time out and about.
A possible car swap would be a option.
