A Georgian town house in historic Henley on Thames, England. 45 minutes from the centre of London, 25 minutes from Heathrow, in this famous riverside town with its Royal Regatta, 60 yards from the River Thames. Our house was built in 1720, and has recently undergone a complete restoration. A fully equipped Baulthaup German kitchen has been installed and hi tech bathrooms. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and all bedrooms are doubles. A study with fast internet connection and Apple hardware. Our furnishings are a mixture of antique and modern, and our beds are extremely comfortable!! We have a lovely sunning garden, with off street parking which in the middle of Henley is a huge bonus. Our garden has mature trees, BBQ, outside dining and has recently been replanted.
We are a retired couple, Nigel and Jennifer, who enjoy travelling. Nigel has worked in the theatre for 50 years. We know we have a very special home and are happy to exchange with a like-minded couple, preferably in the New England area, with Cape Cod being high on our wish list. We are open to discuss car swaps and non-simultaneous swaps also. We also have a large house in Southern Spain.
