Our home

Helensburgh is known as the gateway to the Highlands and just a few miles to Loch Lomond. The town is on the railway line connecting one to Glasg straight through to Edinburgh. Spectacular scenery with many walking and biking trails and the town is home to the inventor of television and Charles Rennie McIntosh's wonderful Hill House. We have great tea rooms and excellent restaurants. We also boast the prettiest railway ride anywhere in the world.....huge boast but we're very proud of it.

I have a 12 kilo Wheaten Terrier/Poodle cross who does not shed and totally house trained. He would be going with me on holiday. I would accept a smaller dog who would be as well trained as my dog.....we are not thinking large dogs. The walk along the front is wonderful for dogs and we are a very mutt friendly town!

Who we are

I am a retired interior designer and former dog day care and boarding facility owner. My dog Maxwelton and I wish to see a bit more of the world so trading is our answer to that wish.

My flat is two streets away from the promenade and the great Clyde. One window boasts a small view until the stunning birch tree at the park next door comes into leaf! Everything in Helensburgh is within walking distance and rail connections to airports are excellent.
