Our home

People are always very complimentary about my home describing it as warm, comfortable and relaxing. I love it obviously and would add that it is clean but not sterile, tidy but homely. Being Edwardian the rooms are all of a good size with high ceilings and good proportions. The decor is neutral, in the main, but cosy.
Downstairs the floors are all wooden and the stairs and bedrooms are carpeted for comfort. As a family we have used the kitchen dining area as our main living area, there is also a sitting room.
Up stairs is the master bedroom and two further double rooms one with a double bed and one with a single but it this room it is possible to make up another single bed.
We have WiFi internet, Sky television and an old school hi fi that it is possible to connect to an ipod!

Property features

Who we are

  1. I am a single woman. I have raised my two sons who are now successfully getting on with their lives, one working towards becoming a barrister and the other in his final year at Uni.
For twenty years I have worked as a counselor. My client base is mostly with young people and families alongside this I am a supervisor/practice consultant to the counselors at an area office of the national relationship counseling charity Relate.
Now I have more time I would very much like to see a bit more of the world.
My interests are many and varied, family, friends, art, design, architecture, fashion, gardening, walking, cooking museums and galleries to name some.
Often when travelling I travel with friends or my two sons. So there would be a minimum of 2 travellers and a maximum of 4.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Haslemere is a small market town on the borders of three counties Surrey, West Sussex and Hampshire, it's a place to enjoy and it's so convenient for just about everything. Being in the town gives us access to pubs, restaurants, sports centre, swimming pool, wonderful National Trust walks and the Haslemere Hall which offers a range of events from current films, bands, Opera and other international events via satellite, all within walking distance.
Haslemere train station is a 5 - 10 minute walk away and within less than one hour we are in London Waterloo or alternatively take the train in the opposite direction to the Historic town of Portsmouth and the south coast.
