Our home

Our family home is convenient, comfy, recently redecorated and great for kids. We live in a little village 6 miles outside the historic city of Cambridge. I cycle into work in the town centre, but a bus goes every 20 minutes to the city centre taking 15/20 minutes. Walk round the medieval colleges of Milton, Newton and Darwin, punt along the college "backs", take in the world renowned museums or relax in our lovely grassy garden with our kamado ceramic barbecue (one for the chefs)! We have a cot and loads of kids toys (our daughter is 13 months) including 2 high chairs, sand pit, paddling pool etc etc, so would be perfect for a young family. Also nearby is a National Trust home farm, Oliver Cromwell's cathedral city of Ely, and London (Kings Cross is a 40 minute train journey from Cambridge Central). For the more ambitious we have an inflatable rowing boat for the local waterways although it is quite a business to put up!

Who we are

  1. My wife Emily and I have lived in Cambridge for 10 years, since being students here. We both work in music (Emily as a therapist, I as a church musician), and have a 1 year old daughter, Imogen. We love travelling, adventure and the outdoors!

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

There is a play park directly over the road for children and a traditional English village pub with log fire (The Blue Lion). Round the corner is a convenience store. There are plenty of rural country walks on your doorstep.
