Our home

Our house is a typical terraced house in inner South London. It has four bedrooms with two bathrooms and a 70 foot north facing garden with a decking area. We have all mod cons plus an art deco open fire place which is great for honely coal fires during the winter. We have a piano, guitar if you are feeling musical! We have lived here happily for 11 years. This summer some local friends organised a house swap holiday in New York and now we want to do something similar at Christmas. Look forward to hearing from you!

Property features

Who we are

  1. There are four of us in our family - myself (Mick), my partner Helen and our two boys, Jack (10) and Harry (5). We are all into walking, restaurants, films (see above), camping and skiing. Jack is very keen on sport and plays football for his school, hockey and now cricket at the Oval, one of London's top cricket venues.

Your neighbourhood

We live in Brixton, the vibrant, multicultural heart of south London. We have a beautiful park on our doorstep (Brockwell Park) which is great for walks and all kinds of sports. There are numerous pubs, clubs and restaurants within walking easy distance of our house and at nearby centres like Dulwich and Clapham. We have a six screen cinema within five minutes walk - the Ritzy is pre Art Deco and was completely rebuilt around 10 years ago. If you are a film buff you must experience Screen One, it is magnificent. But if you are coming for the London tourist sites you have struck lucky - everything from Buckingham Palace to the Tower of London and Oxford Circus is within 30 minutes from our doorstep, either by tube, train, bus or our car which is yours to borrow.
