Our home

Our House is three minutes from Willesden Green Tube station on the Jubilee line.
You can get into Oxford street in 15 minutes and to the Houses of Parliament in half an hour.
The house has a large hall and dining room and a large living room. The kitchen and breakfast room looks out on the garden. The garden is 100 feet long and has a competition size trampoline in it. We have one large double bedroom and three single bedrooms on the first floor and a large loft room with bathroom.
The house is semi detached.
I will put photos on the site as soon as I can
In th summer we spend a lot of time in the garden and eat on the Patio.
The house has fireplaces in five rooms. The fireplace in the living room is 8 feet tall!
The house is in quite good condition and we have a cleaner who visits weekly.
The house is a bit messy in the photos, usually it is tidier, but I just took the photos when the enthusiasm took me rather than as a marketing ploy

Property features

Who we are

  1. We are a family of five. I work in systems and my wife is a teacher. Our children are 14, 14 and 9, and are all at school. We are looking for a venue for our summer holidays in early August and in South West Ireland (County Clare?)for the end of August.

We tend to fly when we can get cheap flights which may be mid week.

We have a dog but generally we put him into kennels when we go away (except when we go to Ireland). We have a cat which sleeps outdoors.

We are interested in somewhere with good outdoor pursuits for first two weeks of August, preferably with access to the sea and a pool.
Please no offers unless you are close to the sea or have a swimming pool. Certainly no offers from large cities. Thanks.

Your neighbourhood

Central Willesden was built before cars so the houses are close to the train station, and are long and thin. Our house is one street from a large beautiful park (Gladstone Park) and very close to some nice restaurants and pubs and the Tube. We mostly get around by tube but we have a car which we use for local journeys and school runs. The house is perfect for a visitor who wanted to get into the west end and see plays or musicals and see the theatres. It is a very stable and quite friendly neighbourhood.
