Our home

Our bungalow is small and very comfortable. We have a medium sized lounge which overlooks the water, viewing passing shipping. We have one double and one single bedrooms. A shower room with walk in shower (no bath) and the WC is in the shower room. The kitchen is very well equipped with most things necessary, all are modern and very efficient. We have a very large conservatory running along the whole length of the bungalow with a comfortable sitting out area which overlooks our large back garden. The washing machine and a laundry sink are also housed in the conservatory as is a dining table and chairs. We also have a very large dining table and chairs in the kitchen diner. Outside we have plenty of garden loungers and facility for BBQs. The garden is very sunny.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Our bungalow overlooks Southampton Water with fine views to passing liners, the QE2, QM2 and the P and O fleet, as well as container ships and many pleasure ships large and small. Hamble is a world renowned yachting village is quaint, with many pubs and restaurants for eating out. A small ferry takes people across the Hamble River to Warsash, the village on the opposite side, which is also very interesting with a very nice walk along the river bank. Our home is on the Solent Way which stretches along part of the South Coast. We are near to a large Country Park, very scenic, with lovely walks and views across the water to Southampton Docks. The park is very interesting historically, being on the site of a great military hospital, from the Crimea war to the nineteen sixtees, when it became a country park. Many local stores are within 10 20 minutes ride, Marks and Spencers, and a large Tesco superstore is at the top of Hamble Lne.
