We live in a small village close to Cambridge. Cambridge is a university town with many museums and buildings of interest. Cambridge has a train link to London, which takes 45 minutes. We are 10 minutes from Newmarket, which is famous for horseracing. The historic city of Ely is 20 minutes away, with its magnificent cathedral, also the birthplace of Oliver Cromwell. Bury St Edmunds is 25 minutes away and is an old market town full of interesting buildings and Abbey in the centre of town.
Our village is on the edge of two counties, Cambridgeshire and Suffolk and therefore ideal for exploring the beautiful unspoilt villages of Suffolk and the historic colleges of Cambridge. With London an easy day trip away.
We are 45minutes away from Stanstead, which has bargain airline links. As well as easy reach of London airports only a few hours away.
We live in a period red brick house on the edge of the village. The village has two pubs, a mini supermarket open 8am to 10pm daily and butchers.
