Our home

We have lived for 4 years in our happy family home. Before that we lived 3 miles south of here for 10 years The house was built in 1900 but we have decorated using mainly modern but comfortable, functional and sympathetic furnishings. 37" flat screen tv our most recent acquisition and my 13 year old has eventualy obtained his longed for x box. Country kitchen predates our occupation. Garden is relaxing and private. The 4th bedroom has been converted to a home office. The walk in shower is one of my favourite places in the house!

Who we are

We are a two lawyer family with one 13 year old boy. We work hard and like to enjoy holidays but would prefer the relaxed atmosphere of a home to commercial hotels. We are open to travelling anywhere but generally are confined to the main school holidays at Easter and Summer as we go to Ireland for Christmas and at other times during the year. There is sometimes a possibility of a part exchange with our family holiday home (3 bedrooms) in the West of Ireland (County Clare).

Your neighbourhood

Very friendly neighbourhood. Local woods and stream is about 4 mins from house. Cycling safe on back roads. Can see golf course from outside the house. Underground train stop is 7 mins walk away and central London 20 mins by train. Big shopping centre nearby as well as High Street and supermarket near underground train. Lots of local restaurants on days you dont want to venture into London. My gym is 7 mins walk away. A short drive away is a big public parkland with historic house (Kenwood House and Park) including an art gallery and cafe (the gallery includes a Rembrandt, Constables, Turner and Singer Sargent.
