Our home

Our home is comfortable, clean and spacious. There is a very large kitchen with a breakfast bar and separate dining area. Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, we are only 10 minute walk from the village centre. We have a very private high fenced-in garden with a small vegetable/fruit patch at the bottom and a gas-fired BBQ on the patio. The bathrooms and two bedrooms are upstairs and the 3rd bedroom doubles as an office with Broadband internet access.

Who we are

  1. We are Eric and Inga a married couple with 4 daughters, and several grandchildren. There are two daughters living in Australia and one here in the UK. and one more now living in south of France I am a retired Pharmacist and Inga is a retired Accounts clerk. We have exchanged before . We are very flexible as to the exact period and length of exchange, but would prefer to exchange April/MaY for about 6 weeks

We are located equi-distant bertween Portsmouth and Southampton (about 12 miles from each) and situated about a mile from the coast with many beaches, water sports including fishing (both sea and beach), sailing surfing etc. are all available locally and there is golf, tennis and a multitude of Museums and galleries in the vicinity. The village has its own library, Health centre and Pharmacy, in addition to all the shops and supermarkets needed for everyday living. We also have a general store at the end of the road open from 7am to 10pm for those last mnute forgotton purchases. Fareham is the nearest main town about 3 miles away with direct access to the Railway network and Motorway system. London is approx. 65 miles away and the New Forest is only half an hour drive. Hampshire has many attractions for the interested tourist.
