Our home is a modest but comfortable semi detached Chalet style Bungalow. It is on two floors with carpet in most rooms. Upstairs has two bedrooms, a study with use of a computer and broadband, a walk in shower room with shower (No bath) and a WC. The downstairs has a lounge with a fireplace, a dining room. kitchen with all appliance's, a cloakroom with WC. The house is fully central heated. We have two garages with parking for three cars. The front and rear gardens are low maintenance with flower boarder and a small fish pond. There is a patio for sitting outside when the weather permits.
Our names are Eileen & Dave. We are both retired and have been married for 47 years. We love travel and are very keen walkers. Dave loves playing golf 2 or 3 times a week. He is also a member of our local Morris dancing side so we both enjoy travelling around to different venues and folk singing. We have one son who lives in Plympton Park Adelaide South Australia. We now know Adelaide quite well so as long as there is a car available we do not mind where in Adelaide we have a house swap.
Our house is ideally situated for touring England. It is on edge of the very friendly village of Eynsham near Witney. It is 6 miles from Oxford city and very near the Cotswolds. Buses come through the village every 15 minutes for easy access to Oxford and on to London, approximately 1 hour. Blenheim Place where Winston Churchill was born and Bladon his resting place are just a few miles away. Our surrounding neighbours are all very friendly and helpful. The village shops can supply all your needs. There is also a Doctors surgery and a Dentist in the village.
