“We had a lovely week in Emsworth, such a pretty village with everything and lots of walks, beautiful scenery!. The house was cosy, comfortable and very clean. Sandra made me feel immediately at home, fridge well equipped!, and helped to familiarize with the surroundings, recommended some great places to visit, good location for visiting the south of England. Everything we needed was well provided for!. The neighbourhood was relaxed and friendly too. Sandra left our house clean and ordered. We had a great home swap with Sandra's family and kept on exchanging mails and lots of what's app with good advice all over the 7 days of our stay. Thanks for your hospitality and your confidence.”

Our home
Our home is nice and cosy. It's not big but enough for a small family or a couple. Furnished in a traditional English style. Kitchen fully equipped with everything you might need. You can park your car next to the building. There is also another free car park not far away. We live by lovely promenade and just a few steps from the village centre. You can enjoy water-sports, go for walks, catch crabs (great fun for children!) or use our bikes (3) to explore the countryside. Within walking distance there's a park with free tennis courts (we leave rackets at home).

Who we are
-
We are Sandra and Mario, in our forties with a teenage son of 13. I work as a tutor and Mario runs a construction company. We are keen on travelling far and near. Sometimes we go just two of us and sometimes we make a family holiday. We usually make longer holidays during school breaks and Christmas but we also enjoy short weekend breaks. We are happy to go anywhere :)
We have already arranged exchanges for this year and can't make any more. Unfortunately we need to work sometimes ;) We will consider all offers for 2016, though!

Emsworth is a charming tiny town, used to be a fishing village famous for oysters. There are many places to visit in the area, from historic town of Chichester, through castles in Arundel and Portchester to livley Portsmouth just a few miles away. A bit further - Winchester, where you can see King Artur's Round Table and one of the oldest cathedrals, Beaulieu - magnificent Palace House, gardens and a huge Motor Museum (great fun!) or if you are nature lover you should go to New Forest to see wild horses and deer. http://www.visitsoutheastengland.com/places-to-visit/hampshire
Hayling Island is a must! Lovely beaches and just 10 min. drive from our house.
