Our home

Our home is a bright and airy Victorian house in a residential street with lovely neighbours/friends. On the ground floor we offer a living room (with sofa bed), large open-plan living area consisting of dining room, contemporary well-equipped kitchen and a large conservatory overlooking the garden. There is also a shower room/wc and a utility area. Upstairs offers 2 double bedrooms and a modern bathroom with bath and shower. We have a fantastic cleaner once a week.

Who we are

  1. We are a female couple who both work in education. We have travelled throughout Europe but, having recently experienced New York, we would love to explore more of the US! We haven't swapped homes before but, as we are very houseproud ourselves, we would certainly treat your home with the utmost respect. We enjoy exploring local towns but also relaxing in the sun. The thought of living as locals appeals to us as we often stay in self-contained apartments when visiting Europe. We're open to suggestions from anywhere - just ideally somewhere very warm and not wet! (We have enough of that here!) We look forward to hearing from someone soon and setting off on this new experience.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We are a perfect base from which to explore London, the South of England and Europe, being ideally located on the Kent border with excellent transport links (M25, Eurostar) virtually on our doorstep. A 5 minute walk will take you to Eltham Station where a 25 minute train journey will drop you directly into Central London (Trafalgar Square). Our local area consists of Eltham Palace (English Heritage site), Blackheath Village (start of London Marathon!), Bluewater Shopping Centre (largest in Europe), the O2 Arena and historic Greenwich adjacent to the River Thames.
