Our home

We are fortunate to own a 3/4 bed "Neo Georgian style" modern townhouse situated in a safe and attractive residential enclave on level ground.
The house is presented on three levels with a study/bedroom four on the ground floor (door to garden) with shower/toilet facilities adjacent. Above the private garage space/laundry area is a spacious first floor L shaped living room/diner leading on to a sunny balcony at the front elevation and views to the garden at the rear. A fully fitted modern kitchen completes this level.
The second staircase leads to the top floor offering two double bedrooms and one single with a family bathroom and clothes airing cupboard.
With the benefit of central heating and double glazing throughout the house offers a comfortable and secure environment to a couple or a young family in any season.

  1. We are Mark and Lynda and have resided in this home for 20 years and have so enjoyed raising our family in this locality we have not considered moving. We are seasoned travellers and know that after any long journey it is a comfort to discover that great accommodation awaits you, and is presented as described.
    We live in a clean and hygenic houshold and would expect the same in an exchange situation. we believe you would enjoy your visit to London, but be grateful to return to eat and sleep in a calm and quiet residential haven.
    We would like to get to know any prospective exchanger so that we may help one another to get the best from their visit.

This house is situated in a pleasant and well designed residential but very green and wooded enclave. (Elstree is famous for being the home of the British film industry since the 1940's). There is a small lake a minutes walk from the front door. Ten extra minutes walking finds you at the local train station of Elstree and Borehamwood with fast (approx 30 mins) and frequent services into central London. A single ticket gives access to the London transport bus and underground systems. Indeed we commute to London on a daily basis.
Local amenities include: golfing, walking, flying, horse riding and good shopping facilities. There is a large country park with a lake and a small zoo within three miles.
Nearby are excellent motorway links giving easy access for touring England, and France.
