Our home

My home is part of an old school house. I bought it two yrs ago and completely renovated it keeping all the original features but introducing a contemporary wow factor. Underfloor heating downstairs and tiled floors, open plan living/dining/kitchen with bi-folding doors to garden. My new stairs are stainless steel, glass and wood treads, leading to two bedrooms each with bathroom. Main bedroom has a walk-in shower plenty of space for girl stuff!
After living in a big family house this is such easy living, everything is new and the small garden takes no maintenance. Decking, flags, water feature and outdoor lighting..... great for entertaining in our short summer but so pretty at Xmas in the snow too!

Property features

Who we are

  1. I am a retired teacher with 3 children living and working in Australia!. I have made many trips down under, the last one for the exciting birth of my first grandchild earlier this year. I spent 3 months in Freshwater and bonded with my lovely granddaughter. My children are trying to persuade me to emigrate on a parent visa to live permanently in N S W....big decision! I still have some family here and loads of fun-loving loyal friends.
So we have all agreed that a trial long spell living alone, but near them, was a good idea before taking the plunge. Hence my interest in this site.

Your neighbourhood

Located south of the Wirral peninsula between Chester, the lovely Roman city and Liverpool, a ferry ride across the Mersey. Both steeped in history, both offering all the cultural delights ,maritime museums and beautiful architecture. There is a wealth of bars and restaurants in every direction and some cosy country pubs.
The Wirral has its own beauty and beaches too. Highly populated with golf courses and lovely scenery.
Here in the North west of England everyone is friendly. People go out of their way to help out.
