Our home

This is a traditional Edinburgh apartment built in 1865.It is comfortable, tastefully decorated, light and airy with high ceilings and original features. It is on the third floor with no lift but your efforts are rewarded with light and good views. Two bedrooms have double beds and there is a small single bedroom. it is fully equipped but does not have the internet. It can accommodate two couples, a couple and two children or three adults. The apartment is our second home so we can be flexible about exchanges.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The apartment is situated in one of the most popular parts of Edinburgh. Near the university and hospital it is an area of students and young professionals with cafes restaurants and shops nearby. It is a 15/ 20 min walk to old Edinburgh and the city centre. There is a large parkland nearby with tennis courts and play areas for children.

Edinburgh situated between the Pentland hills and the Firth of Forth is a beautiful city with its historic castle, palace, Old town, Georgian New Town and much more. It has a famous international festival in August and September each year as well as Hogmanay celebrations at New Year. There is an excellent bus and train services and it can be a base from which to start exploring Scotland.
