Our home

Our home is a modern comfortable/clean semi detached villa. It has a small modern fitted kitchen with separate dining room. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs,1 double bed,1 single bed and one with a small double bed. Modern bathroom with shower/bath. Lounge with 5 seater suite and satellite TV and Internet. Gas Central heating/double glazed. Garage/parking/gardens.
Use of car if required and two adult bicycles

Who we are

We are Kathy and Kerr, both 63 years of age a married couple with grown up son and daughter. We have not done a home exchange before but are keen to try what sounds a great way to see another country as a resident- and allow someone to see our beautiful country. We would expect to arrange an exchange soon in order to get to know our fellow exchangers via email first to see how best we can facilitate their stay in Scotland.

Situated in West Edinburgh a quiet suburb of Edinburgh, 5 mins walk to local restaurants, 5 minute walk to unmanned train station (Fife and North line and City centre), 5 minutes walk to Tesco superstore, 15 minutes from airport /1hr 40mins flight to London, 10 minute drive to zoo,15 minutes to Murrayfield ice rink and 20 minutes from city centre/local attractions (the castle ,museums,art gallerys ,Hollyrood palace and Scottish parliament and many other attractions. Ideally situated as a touring base for the highlands and borders.
