Our home

Our home is also our business which is a homely guest house. Our street is in a residential area to the west of the town centre. Car parking is on street and unrestricted. All five bedrooms are en-suite and have their own televisions and tea/coffee making facilities. We also have the front lounge with comfortable squishy sofas and T.V. as well as the dining room which has patio doors onto the quite small garden with its table and chairs it is lovely for having breakfast and lunch. There is also a family room and kitchen, which is well equipped and functional.

Property features

Who we are

  1. We are Linda and Andy, a middle aged couple with a teenage son Matthew. We may also want to include Lindas parents in our exchange. We have never done an exchange before but believe that Eastbourne has a lot to offer and look forward to living somewhere else as a local.
Our home is a guest house which would of course be entirely at your disposal and it has been awarded Visit Britain 4 star status which requires high levels of cleanliness and comfort which we like to give our guests and any house swapper.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Eastbourne is a lovely Edwardian town in East Sussex on the South Coast of England. It is officially the sunniest place in England. There is four and half miles of promenade to explore and walk along. There are the lovely Carpet Gardens, Victorian Pier and Beachy Head to explore. The South Downs Way from Wincester ends in Eastbourne and is a wonderful 100 mile walk. East sussex has lovely countryside and many historic houses and gardens to visit. Ashdown forest is a nice drive.
Eastbourne is useful for day trips to London. The train service takes one and half hours and there are good day tickets available.
Along the coast are the towns of Rye, Battle, Hastings and St Leonards. Bexhill has the De la Warr Pavillion an art deco masterpiece.
Between us and Brighton are the wonderful Seven Sisters and lots of nice towns to visit.
Eastbourne has three theatres with varied performances and an award winning art gallery, The Towner.
