Our home

A lovely 4 bedroom ground floor apartment with an extensive south facing garden full of mature trees.
2 Minutes walk to the river Thames and the famous Hampton Court Palace (Henry VIII).
The Hampton Court railway station is next to the Palace with direct connections - 25 minutes - to the centre of London. We like to think that London in the build up to Christmas needs no further introduction.
The apartment has modern technologies i.e broadband, telephone and fax, 2 plasma televisions with all Sky channels, DVD players and computers.
The living room has a real open fire, ideally in the winter with the logs supplied by the garden.
The very spacey kitchen benefits from all modern facilities - as listed - with a dining table which can seat up to 10.
On the drive is allocated parking space for our two cars.

Alexandra, 20, is studying International Business at Edinburgh University, but currently on a year long study exchange program with Sydney University in Australia.
Vincent, 19, is studying geology at St. Amdrews University in Scotland, a handy place for golf with his 2 hcp.
Felix, 16, is still at home and attends the Cobham International School, where Sietske has picked up her old love of teaching young children.
Peter is an international business man and Director of various Companies.

Sietske and Peter originate from the Netherlands and all members of the family still retain a Dutch passport even though none of our children were born in the Netherlands. Before moving here over the last 25 years we lived in Greater London Germany and Turkey.

Alex now staying in Sydney for a year is a great opportunity for the rest of the family to spend Christmas in sunny Australia.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

This is a great neighborhood, on one hand a quiet residential street, on the other hand close to charming shops and river cafes.
There are plenty of restaurants and the Hampton Court Palace is a great magnet the whole year round.
The combination of residential area and the liveliness of the river and the Palace never bores.
London is a 25 minute train ride away. Heathrow airport is a 25 minutes drive and London Gatwick 40 minutes.
For active and passive sport lovers: Surrey has plenty of renowned golfcourses, Wimbledon tennis is 10 minutes away, great football stadion (Chelsea 30 minutes by underground), race courses and watersport.
