Our home

We inherited this house five years ago and have lovingly restored it. At weekends we often have Weddings, Stag Parties, Parties and Celebrations. The 14 bedrooms are all luxurious and in addition there is a large black and white hallway, large sitting room, small sitting room, ballroom for dancing, bar and dining room. Really suits 20 people plus although we enjoy it and we are only 7 (2 adults and 5 children). We also have table tennis, pool (15 ball pool), darts, table football, scalextric (large track with 4 new cars), 2 large TVs, DVD players, PS3 and games, WII and games and some bicycles. We have also built an adventure course in the woods, A frame, raised platform, 6m pipe, 35m Zip wire and tyres to jump through. We have 2 football nets too.

Property features

Who we are

  1. Rachel and James are 49 and 50 years old and our children are 18, 16, 13, 11 and 9. We love living here and we like the quiet. We used to live in London in Clapham so it's quite a change. We've saved the house by spending £2.5 million on it (eg 88 radiators!). We like fell walking, swimming and dog walking as well as reading and watching TV. Nice wine goes down well too.
