Our home

Our house, a typical English detached house, is nearing the end of a total make over and is comfortable and efficient.
There are two double bedrooms and one small single room. The kitchen is modern, large and extends into the dining room at the back of the house. There are two other living/entertainment rooms.

Property features

Who we are

  1. We are Mair and John, a married couple, both teachers who enjoy travelling and soaking up the culture of the places we visit. We have two children, Jamie aged 16 and Anya aged 12.
We exchanged houses a few years ago with a family in Seattle and really enjoyed the experience. The opportunity to feel at home and benefit from all the experience of the host family whilst enjoying all the pleasures of being on vacation makes exchanging a really great option.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We are very close to the centre of Dorking Town, and because we live on a footpath it is very quiet and private. There is a large park with a lake and all the amenities of the town within 3 mins walk of the house.
Dorking is a pretty town famous for its antique shops and it is situated in the beautiful surrey hills with easy access to London, both major airports and many of the tourist attractions of Southern England.
