Our home

Our home is a three story stone house in the centre of a historic Oxfordshire village. It is not modern, but is quaint and cozy! We have no garden, but are in the centre of a small village in the countryside with trees and fields all around. Our neighbours are discreet and friendly. We do have three floors, so you must be able to cope with stairs. We have radios all over as we love music, but there are also several TVs.

Property features

Who we are

  1. My husband is a newly retired Merchant Navy Captain, and I still paint - for a hobby or a living!! We love music - and since my husband now has part-time work in London we go to concerts and galleries every week or two. I have quite a nice collection of CDs if you like to play them!!

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Beautiful mid-England countryside with canals and rivers running through. The historic city of Oxford is within 40 mins by road or rail. Warwick castle is a short drive away, and Birmingham is surprisingly interesting - museum, theatre, art galleries, and concert Hall. Several country houses within easy reach(Blenheim Palace)and 40mins to Stratford on Avon. Also 30mins to Bicester Village outlet mall for those who shop labels!
