Welcome!... to a 3-story Victorian Terrace house consists of four bedrooms, one with a double bed (on 2nd floor) leading to the bathroom and shower and toilet. 2 double rooms on the 3ed floor containing 2 single beds in one and 1 single bed and also bunk beds for 2 people (young). The 4th bedroom is single (currently used as a workroom (redundant). There is one living room with sofa, T.V (cable), Internet, study/office desk and a cosy gas fire. Thereâs the hall way into the entrance door, leading into the library, which also has a sofa-bed (sleeps 2). Through the double glazed back door thereâs the garden (100m long) with table and chairs on the patio/terrace and barbeque and outside toilet. The beautiful view of East Cowes, and part of the River Medina is seen from the garden; sea views can be seen from top bedroom. Cowes (west) is famous for the international sailing regatta, and to reach the Marina takes only 10min walk. There are plenty of activities to do on the Isle of Wight. If thatâs not enough, you can venture into Portsmouth (Nelsonâs ship), Southampton (where the QE2 ship departs to Mew York) as well as London, which takes just over 1hour to get to from Southampton or Portsmouth! I love spending time in my home and entertaining friends as well as foreign students from many countries â most of theses students mothers and family like to invite me back to their home to re-pay my hospitality, which I find them to be just as warm and inviting.
Unfortunatly I have lost my husband, so I live on my own in this big house, in a small town, so I tend to travel when the opportunity arises. I had a travel agency from home, I decided to look into other business ideas (when I complete the business degree course currently undertaken in Southampton University in 4 mounths time). I love meeting people from all cultures and like to help in any way I can. I'm in my fourties but stuck in my twenties - keeping up-to-date with our global surroundings.
(see above) Situated in a picturesque area, in the most south of England, the weather is much warmer here than the rest of England. Cowes especially has small boutique shops catering for tourists (as well as locals). The Isle of Wight was favoured over Buckingham Palace by queen Victoria, having her own castle built here in East Cowes. the beautiful gardens surrounding the Isle of Wight are worth while seeing.
Ideally located as a touring base, our town offers easy we have our own theatre access to other Southern cities as a gateway to explore. Boat trips can be taken. Trains run until the early hours of the morning so going to a West End Show (or shows at the Southampton theatre in the neighbouring town â Newport) or an enjoyable dinner in the Marinas of Southampton/ Ocean Village / Portsmouth and our Cowes Marina too.
