Who we are

  1. We are Lawrence and Mel, with a 10 year old daughter called Millie, and a pedigree cat (Burmilla) called Noddles. Mel runs her own buffet catering company, and I work for an Investment Bank in the City of london. I am in my early 50's and Mel early 40's. We have not done a home exchange before but are keen to try what sounds a great way to see another country as a resident - and allow someone to see yours. We would expect to arrange an exchange some way in advance in order to get to know our fellow exchangers via email first to see how best we can facilitate their stay in the UK.

Your neighbourhood

Clacton-on-Sea is a bustling seaside town, with lots of resturants and pubs, and a wonderful pier, good shops. Its also close to Colchester (Englands oldest town) and Constable country in Suffolk, which is only 15 miles away.
This is a beautiful area of North Essex, with lots to see and do.
There is a direct train service into London, about 80 minutes travel. Or there is excellent road links to London and the Midlands or Norfolk.
