Our home

This is our family home in a quiet residential street very close to the centre of Cheltenham. It's a spacious house with lots of living space, a lovely big lounge and a smallish garden.

We've decorated in mostly plain colours and most of the house is geared around children, but in such a way that it's easy to clear up after them as we do a lot of entertaining.

We also love the garden, which is small but a lovely space to play and hang out, with a small vegetable plot, lots of flowers and a pleasant patio. There's a children's trampoline and the garage too, but we've hidden that behind some fence!

Who we are

My wife and I love cooking, eating and relaxing when we're not looking after our three children aged 3-10 years. I lead a local church and my wife used to be a school teacher and now manages the home. She loves decorating, well choosing the decor anyway, and growing flowers. I like most sports, especially when I can do them with our boys (7 & 10), but I also like fixing old push bikes.
We like to think we're quite adventurous and we love the sea and open country.

We love the location as it's walking distance to the town centre with shops and restaurants one way and with the most fabulous park 200m the other way. We love it too because we can see the hills from our bedroom and in 10minutes drive we can be in the Cotswolds, a beautiful rural area full of walks and ancient villages.

Cheltenham is the main market town of the Cotswolds and whilst the population is small (120,000) there are shops and restaurants to cater for the whole county. Our house is very close to the centre and the fabulous park with boating and fishing lake, children's play areas and pitch and putt golf course. We're also walking distance from the town's leisure centre which has a 33m swimming pool, teaching pool and 5m diving boards as well as squash and tennis courts and other amenities.
