Our home

We offer our second house which is rated 4 STARS by the English tourist board. It is in a convenient location to enjoy Cheltenham or explore the Cotswolds. It is situated in a cul-de sac and offers a haven of peace. It is walking distance to Montpellior (restaurants, bars, boutiques) - 2 kilometres.
The house is comfortable and has a spacious lounge/dining room, fully equipped kitchen.
One bathroom, 2 double bedrooms upstairs, 1 single bedroom upstairs,
1 single bedroom downstairs.
Pretty quiet back garden with use of private patio. There is a pond with a water fountain. (fenced in for child safety).
We live next door with an attractive shared garden.

Who we are

  1. We are Maria and Trevor, a married couple. We are both professionals (acupuncture therapist/teacher and retired science educationlist) and enjoy travelling when able to get away.
    We have not done a home exchange before but are keen to try what sounds a great way to see another country as a resident - and allow someone to see yours.

Cheltenham is a regency town with a cosmopolitan ambiance which is greatly enhanced by its historic architectural setting. It is situated in the beautiful Cotswolds where you can visit the loviliest villages such as Winchcombe, Stanway, Stanton, Broadway, Chipping Campden, The Slaughters, Painswick, Bourton on Water etc.

Cheltenham is called the Festival Capital of Britain, Music & cricket festival in July as well having the National Hunt Festival in March. literature Festival in October.

Gloucester has one Britain's greatest cathedrals and cloisters.
Bath and Oxford are about one hour away.

Cheltenham has stylish shopping with tree lined avenues, colourful parks. gardens. It offers a wide choice of fashionable restaurants, fine dinning, wine bars and coffee bars.

In Summer it has a large outdoor heated swimming pool. Cheltenham is surrounded by beautiful hills - Leckhampton Hill, Cleeve hill and is perfect for those who love walking with beautiful views.
For children there are bird and animal parks nearby.
