Our home

Our home is a 17th century country cottage, with bags of character surrounded by a two acre garden ideal for relaxing in. The garden has a trampoline and swings for children to play on.

Our home has three/four bedrooms, one double, two singles, (one downstairs). And a study/bedroom upstairs with a bed built into the roof space (great for older children). Last summer's first exchange had seven people staying. We are happy to put up extra beds if this helps. The house is very cosy and typically Kentish with walks straight on to the footpaths in the surrounding downland countryside.

Who we are

  1. We are Charlie & Vanessa, we have two teenage children (16 & 13) who enjoy outdoor pursuits. We enjoy exploring new places and appreciate wildlife, architecture and culture.

Charlie is a fire officer working for Kent Fire and Rescue service and Vanessa works part time for a publishing company. We have been on our first and very successful exchange this summer. We are now looking for other opportunities.
