Our home

Our lovely home is modern, comfortable and easy to live in. Four bedrooms, master with ensuite, and gorgeous rural views from every window. That`s why the house is called "Oak View".

The sunny conservatory overlooks the private back garden and patio area. From here we often see wild deer, red squirrels, foxes, pheasants and many other kinds of bird and wildlife. The front garden has several fruit trees. We often sit out here with a cuppa.

Downstairs we have a fully equipped dining kitchen, seperate dining room, lounge with open fireplace, study and laundry room with WC.
Our home is light, bright and a lovely place to relax .

Your neighbourhood

Our home is situated in a quiet and friendly hamlet which is the gateway to the English Lake District. We are close to two traditional pubs which serve meals and welcome visitors.

Ideally situated for road and rail links, we are close to the pretty, historic market town of Penrith in the Eden Valley. This is a popular area for walking or touring the lakes and mountains of Northern England. The cities of York, Manchester, Newcastle and Carlisle are easily reached by road or rail and the Scottish border is within 30minutes driving.

Our part of Cumbria is picturesque and abundant with attractions including ferry trips on Windermere, Ullswater, Coniston, and links with William Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter.
