Our home

We are a family with 5-year-old triplets and we live in a typical cosy English Victorian house. The house is right in the centre of Cambridge, about a 7-8 minute walk from all the most beautiful University colleges and the River Cam, where people go punting.
Our house has a living-room/dining-room downstairs, a large kitchen with a table that seats 6 people and a small WC with sink. Upstairs we have 2 bedrooms and an office room (which can be used as a bedroom if needed). The garden is immense! A table and chairs are provided and there is a 'tree house' for children to play in. We have a shed with kids' bikes and two adult bikes. We have a 7-seater car and might consider the idea of exchanging cars but we are not sure of that yet!
We have a resident cat, Godzilla, and we would be delighted if you could take care of him. He is out of the house most of the time and very friendly.
Our home is full of children stuff (but this can be stored away if necessary), warmth and colour!
Please do get in touch if you have any questions!

Who we are

  1. My name is Esperanza and I am 45 years old. My husband Garret and I have 5-year-old triplets, that keep us very busy all the time! We are both Zoologists / Ecologists and we love living in Cambridge because it offers the perfect balance of small town and interesting cultural life.
I have spent the first half of my life travelling and working around the world and now I have settled down in Cambridge because it is a multi-cultural, vibrant town that has a lot to offer for families. In the summer I always crave the Italian sun though because I grew up in Parma, Italy. My mother tongue is Italian and my triplets are now bilingual.
We are always looking for home exchanges around the world, in particular in Italy, but not only.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The river is only 2-3 minutes on foot away from the house, immersed in green parks. Cambridge is a vibrant historical town with lots to do and lots to see. London is only 55 minutes away by train so you can easily enjoy the peace of Cambridge whilst going for regular outings to London.
Our neighbours are friendly and the house is at the end of a dead end road, which means that you will often have children playing on the street. It is a quiet, peaceful neighbourhood and very safe.
